Retired AGT dolls

This may be old news, but in looking at my new catalog, I figured they must've retired a couple of dolls to make room for the 2 new ones, AGT 25 and 26. There were 18 AGT's, now there are only 17.

Gone are:

AGT#5: light skin, red hair, light brown eyes

AGT#14: light skin, dark brown hair, blue eyes

AGT# 15: Medium skim, textured brown hair, dark brown eyes

Surprised that they retired 3 but only introduced 2?

I know that #5 is still online.

It's been quite a while since they have pictured all the AGTs in the catalog. It's better to look online. There should be 23 AGTs currently available and since they changed that graphic to reflect the new number, I am betting none are being retired for the time being.

Oh my goodness, you scared me! #15 is the one that both my DD and I are dreaming of! I quickly looked at the AG website and found that she was still there,thank goodness. Well I guess I need to order her sooner rather than later. - Meg B.

I think the catalog did say there were more dolls online, they just didn't picture them in the catalog. I would get GT15 again in a heartbeat. She is just lovely, and is one of her favorite dolls!

Oh, sorry for the scare. I thought they had all the AGT's in the catalog always. Seems those are some of the big sellers and if even I, who loves AG and belongs to this board, didn't think to look online, there are probably a lot of people new to AG who wouldn't do so either.

They really should put them all in the catalog so people can see which one they like best. The little girls picking out these dolls and drooling over the catalogs are not surfin' the net, necessarily.

I agree with you, dianasmama, they should all be in the catalog. I know that for the past year the catalog didn't include AGT1 (Addy look alike), AGT11 (Addy face, straight black hair and bangs) and AGT w/red hair and green eyes. I don't know why they choose to leave out several.

I did get quite a scare as my daughter eventually wants AGT 5 and AGT 14 - of course that is on her list this week.

Man, my heart skipped a beat there when I read that AG15 was gone! Thank goodness she isn't. I have been wanting her for quite some time and would be pretty ticked off if they got rid of her. I wish I had the money to just order her now so I'd be safe...

AGT14 is still online, I was just fawning over her yesterday. She added herself to my list of AGTs I want.

This worried me, so I had to check. And she is, indeed, on the website. As are the other two. However, on the site, GT15 is labeled as having black hair, did they change that?

They do leave dolls out of the catalogue a lot, maybe they just forgot to say the little "check online for more dolls" bit?
